Have you ever felt like God isn’t paying attention or doesn’t know about you? Sometimes it can feel like that because we get so overwhelmed with what the world is throwing at us! But there is a truth that God has never taken his sight off us. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing about God's vision, he sees everything. There is nothing that we can hide from God. This can be comforting and confronting! This means that he sees our sins and gives us a chance to repent but he also sees our trouble and comforts us.

In the ancient world, and even today, people are looking for something more. Once they realize that the things of the world won’t satisfy, they go on a spiritual journey! People came to the city of Pergamos in searching because of all the temples. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing with us the same encouragement that the church in Pergamos had. They held fast to the truth and were able to share that truth with people even under intense pressure. There was a spiritual battle that they were fighting!

Have you ever tried to find satisfaction and joy in the things of this world? Everyone has a longing for something bigger in their soul. Some people think that it can be filled with the things of this world or desires of the flesh! We know that the only thing, and the only person, who can truly satisfy what we are longing for is Jesus. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing about why the things of this world won’t satisfy us. Sin is fun for a season, but the Joy that Jesus brings to us will always be with us!

As Pastor Dan continues his teaching series through the book of Revelation, he'll be explaining how there's a place for suffering in the life of a believer. Jesus, Himself had to endure suffering, and He focused on the joy that was set before Him as He went to the cross. Jesus focused on eternity, and how His suffering would produce salvation for anyone who would believe in Him. When you're going through trials and suffering here on Earth, the best thing to do is focus on Jesus and how He's working it out for good.

It's possible it goes to church every Sunday, and even possible to lift your hands up during worship and still not have a good relationship with Jesus. As Pastor Dan continues his teaching series through the book of Revelation, he'll be explaining how this lukewarm church of Laodicea had material wealth and comforts yet Jesus saw them as miserable, blind, and naked. Jesus warned this church that He would vomit them out of His mouth if they continued to remain in a lukewarm state, neither hot nor cold.

As Pastor Dan continues his teaching series through the book of Revelation, he'll be exhorting you to return back to your first love. The church of Ephesus was no longer doing anything out of love for the Lord, but out of habit and ritual. At first glance, this church looks perfect. They were doing everything correctly outwardly, but inwardly they were lacking in their personal and intimate relationship with Jesus. Love must be the motivating factor in all that you do as a Christian!

The letters to the seven churches were not just written to those specific churches during that time period, but they are also being written to you as an individual. The commendations and rebukes mentioned throughout these letters can also be applied to you personally and specifically. Today, Pastor Dan will be encouraging you to take a personal inventory as you study the letters to these churches and see if there's anything you should be encouraged by or even repent of.

As Pastor Dan continues his teaching series through the book of Revelation, he'll be explaining how the lamp stand mentioned in the text today is speaking of the church's influence. Jesus said that he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life. Jesus is the Light and your job as the church is to be a lampstand and display the light of Jesus. Are you displaying Jesus to the world? Are you obeying the Great Commission and being used by the Lord to make disciples?

Regardless of what takes place on this Earth during the End Times, God is still ultimately in control and on the throne in Heaven. Even right now in your life, things may seem out of control, but God is still sovereign and in control. What the enemy intends for evil, God will work out for your good in the end. Just like God worked out all the trials Joseph went through, he was beaten, left for dead, and kidnapped, God ultimately made him one of the most powerful men in Egypt!

As Pastor Dan continues his teaching series through the book of Revelation, he'll be reminding you of the great call that God has placed on your life. You've been called to be a royal priesthood, and in the future, you will be in a place where you'll even be in charge of judging the angels. Focus on what God has commanded you and watch how He gives you greater responsibility if you've been faithful in the little things here on Earth. Don't allow the enemy to distract you from your calling!
