That's what happened with AEW and Tony Khan's best laid plans with CM Punk, as we address what his leg injury means moving forward. This includes All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling scrapping their original booking heading into the Forbidden Door PPV and coming up with something totally new.

On the other hand, could Maxwell Jacob Friedman have had his Austin 3:16 moment in his version of the "pipe-bomb" promo, daring Tony Khan to fire him?

All this as it leads upup to the Double Or Nothing PPV on May 29. And somehow even with grievances we found a way to drum up interest in that particular show- as long as they play their cards right!
