It has been one interesting year to say the least. Struggling to remain sober through drying out, facing the inner demons, and being sick of oneself while having a nervous breakdown as the cherry on top. A new journey has begun, and I've been digging deep into this way of life as quest for peace. What I have found has me in awe daily and I'm so excited to share how I've been brought up out of the pit of the darkest times of my life.
In this personally long awaited episode, I finally have Billy Batts and the Made Men in the house and on the mics. Our ole pal Rick Burick from Geared Four Productions joins us in on the fun as we all embark on a 27 minute journey into talking about what a super bright future is in-store for all these fellas! They've all teamed up for something pretty awesome and we're pretty happy to be sharing the announcement!

My first podcast all alone. I figured I would let everyone know whats been going on in my life and why the show has been on hold. This episode is a 36minute and some change long episode that dives pretty deep into the mess that I call SOBRIETY! It's funny, super sad, kinda loud, a bit quiet at times, and it has some strong language in it because it just wouldn't be me without at least 2700 fucks and shits to say. I also cannot go without saying if anyone hears this and realizes they need help on the journey through sobriety or they just need someone to talk to please feel free and hit me up. RHP is glad to be back and we hope you enjoy the show!
I think one of my favorite things in the world right now is going to a bar for some alone time and running into these two guys. We finally had the chance to get them over for a round one match of one on one discussion of many topics ( that to tell you the truth it's a fun struggle to keep up with.) Gary and Sloop are some pretty hilarious people but are beyond hell bent on their beliefs. Gary to Sloop is a far right leaning conservative nut job that never listens and just spreads conspiracy theories, and Sloop to Gary is a liberal snowflake that is crazy on every level and can't cope with anything that comes out of Gary's mouth in regards to current events. I think they're both crazy as shit and I can see why they are friends, and why we're all friends. Buckle your seatbelts and wrap your head in duct tape, because this one is nuts. SIDE NOTE...RIOT HOUSE PODCAST IS NOT PRIMARILY A POLITICAL PODCAST! None of us are professional commentators. So before you get offended and spitting mad at anyone involved on this episode, just remember we're all in the same boat here with microphones in front of our faces. microphones in our faces having a good time!
We have been trying get Steven PJ Jones on this podcast FOOOOOOOOOOREEEEEEVER! Steven is the frontman of a straight up metal band from Charleston, S.C. called Guardians Warlock. Yeah he paints his face. Yeah he sings using a lot of vibrato. But Guardians Warlock also was recently nominated and won Best Metal Band of the Year in the Charleston City Paper. They have some comedy videos out there, releases under the belt, and lots of merch that makes folks do a double-take as you walk by them while wearing their goods. Steven also started a Metal4Metal youtube channel years ago to interview bands and help people get noticed properly in the Charleston punk and metal scene. All of us are super glad to have a really good supportive friend like Steven in our lives. The guy really gives his all supporting other bands and building folks up. So check out this episode and we hope you enjoy.

Billy and Eric return after a long slumbering break and boy is there plenty talk about. We couldn't think of anyone better to bring on than our podcast neighbor Chad Alexander. Chad literally hosts his podcast 3 blocks away from our location called 'The Local Bar' which you can find on all major podcast streaming outlets, and he's quite an interesting guy when you actually get to sit down, crack open some beers, and have a chat. On this episode we talk about everything from the bands billy hates, disgusting sour beers, our stupid president, and the opioid crisis. Buckle your seatbelt if your easily offended...or leave it off so you can do us all a favor and just crash through the windshield.
On this episode Billy sits down with two old friends to share the news about an upcoming event 10/1-10/3. They also talk about everything from edm scene, old message boards from back in the day (specifically Red Hot) punk rock, and bluegrass. Richard is a well known DJ in the Columbia S.C. area that has been throwing events and playing at them for over 20 years. Leia Richardson (aka GRAVY) is a leader in the Derby Girl community, a long time supporter of the edm scene, and the brainchild behind the event discussed through out this episode. Join us as we actually have topics to discuss and feel like we've accomplished something.
Yeah... Most of us sat down together with an agenda to discuss important changes in the band. But we didn't even get to the details because when we all get together we can't stop laughing, making jokes, or just can't shut the fuck up. If you know us in person...you know us here.
Eat shit!
Returning back after a couple months of not doing shit, Billy and Eric sit down with the band Never Ender from Florida. They were stopping through while playing a show here in S.C. so we all got a chance to catch up, shoot shit, and blast our amps together. We played a new tune from there new E.P. titled "Longshot" and told some really screwed up stories about shitting, and Billy from Never Ender kept playing some song on his phone about Buttholes during the podcast. It was at a really annoying frequency but for some reason...enjoyable. So enjoy this episode or suffer through it!
Check out that butthole!
On this episode Billy and Eric sit down with returning guest Larry Parker from River Monster Records, and Punking In Tents founder Patrick Mahon. We talk about the upcoming festival that will be this July 10-11 2021 at the Florence Motor Speedway in South Carolina. The line up is consistently growing over the duration of putting the event together and it keeps getting better and better. The backstory of how the festival formed is pretty awesome. Also...Patrick talks about his experience taking D.M.T. Lots of laughs were had during the recording of this podcast so we hope you all enjoy it.
