Today's Top Tune: RIP Magic ‘5words’

London quartet RIP Magic continue their rapid ascent with the release of “5words.” Produced by James Murphy, it’s his first production work for another band in over a decade. The track channels motorik drums, jagged synths, and restless bass into a sharp, forward-facing take on post-punk energy. A live favorite first sold as an unmarked white label while supporting LCD Soundsystem, “5words” captures a band defining themselves in real time.
