Oh Boyd oh Boyd oh Boyd… TFC debutante Terrence Boyd blasts a ball over the bar during a penalty into our neighboring Andromeda Galaxy. We miss our favorite Italian magician and so does TFC. Mr. K12, synthetically enhanced Demarcus Beasley, still dominates the pitch as he captains his Houston side to a victory. Houston bag the away goal and head to their home stadium poised for a next round birth. Shoulder to Shoulder football doesn’t begin to describe the physical plays we got during this weeks CCL match ups. Mark expresses his love for CCL referees. Houston wins the pancake tackle of the year award. BWP rallies the Red Bulls to snatch two away goals from Dominican side Pantoja. Red Bulls prove they don’t need Winter Soldier Tyler Adams to get the job done. Every MLS fan is now a Sporting Kansas City fan as they emerge the clear MLS victors from this first CCL leg. Peter Vermes and his matlock style coaching fueled the “Kings of the West” to a dominating 3-0 victory of Mexican side Toluca. Jake wishes he could transform into Peter Verme’s hairbrush. Mark spots a wild Ochoa out in the wilderness. Frank De Boer and the Five Stripes hope to fill some Tata sized shoes, but ultimately come up short. The boys toast the ATL fans for making the trek out to their first ever international game. The game didn’t end the way the MLS cup champs wanted, but they do get a shot at redemption next week in their 10k impromptu stadium. The boys discuss some of the greatest Americans (eagle screech) to ever grace the fields of MLS.  Dark whispers prophetically tell the boys the outcome of next weeks CCL clashes.
