This meditation focuses on mindfulness of emotions. We can experience so many different emotions in a single hour, let alone a single day. And our emotions are constantly changing. This guided practice offers a simple, yet powerful way to help us weather our emotional storms. This meditation comes from the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program established by Jon Kabat-Zinn. The technique is about recognizing and labeling our emotions so that instead of getting swept up and strongly identified with emotions, there can be space around them.
