Rise To Liberty

I once again sat down with Jose of the No Way Jose! Podcast. We jump into part 2 of this WM3 serires. We zero in on Jessie Misskelley’s confessions. Multiple statements to police after the 1993 murders of Stevie Branch, Michael Moore, and Christopher Byers. Inconsistencies, claims of coercion, and the details that don’t sit clean with the story that it was all pressure and satanic panic hysteria.

The standard take treats the confessions as worthless and the occult angle as pure invention. We don’t start there. We go through what Misskelley actually said, how it lines up (or doesn’t) with the crime scene, and why these statements still create problems for the clean innocence narrative around Damien Echols, Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin.

I joined Jose Galison on the No Way, Jose! Podcast for part one, a basic walkthrough of the infamous West Memphis Three case. This is a 12 part series, so buckle up!

May 5, 1993. Three eight-year-old boys go missing in West Memphis, Arkansas. Their naked, hog-tied bodies turn up the next day in a drainage ditch the next day. Teenagers Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley, and Jason Baldwin get arrested for this hanious crime. Many claim their was Occult or Satanic involvement, some say that these teens are being targeted for being "different" in a hysterical and unresonable and superstious Christian community. This is only the start.

The mainstream story everyone has heard is that this is a case of pure hysterical, satanic panic and a clear wrongful conviction. That is far from the true story. That story told by the media doesn't support that narrative. We go through the evidence, court transcripts, witness statements, 8 confessions confessions, the crime scene, the key people, and the parts that don’t fit the clean “innocent kids railroaded” version.

On today’s episode, we are diving into the Franklin Child Abuse Scandal. The child abuse scandal that Wikipedia claims to be a hoax. The very same scandal that was declared to be a “carefully crafted hoax” by three separate grand juries. But is the Franklin trafficking network actually a hoax?

To answer this question, honestly we must dive into the actual fact of the case, the actual evidence, witness testimony, sworn affidavits, flight logs, and so many other pieces of evidence that almost everyone overlooks.

Grab a drink, get what you need and settle in. The story is going to get dark.

Raymond Horsch built an empire on underground cinema that blurred the lines between fiction and a terrifying reality. We dissect his legacy to separate the myth from the man.

We analyze the disturbing catalog of Horsch's Horrors to determine if his work is merely artistic expression or something more sinister. Joined by JJ Vance, we break down the claims surrounding his infamous Philadelphia house of horrors, stripping away the hype to see what evidence actually remains. This is not your standard true crime documentary analysis.

This discussion moves beyond the surface-level reports found on Wikipedia, touching on the connections to Operation GCD and the cryptic references to the Royal Order of the Jesters. We examine the mindset behind this alleged sociopathic villain to provide a clearer picture of the narratives that mainstream media ignores.

Subscribe for weekly investigative breakdowns, and let us know your take on the Horsch case in the comments below.
