Freedom From Fear | Lymaris LovelordHow do I squash my fears and embrace what God has made me for? This week our NextGen Director, Lymaris Lovelord, shows us that God's answer to fear has always been His presence. Our safety was never meant to be our circumstances, our control, or even our calling. Our safety is Jesus.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe unpack why fear gets so loud when we stop feeling safe, and how God answers it again and again with "I am with you." Through the stories of David, Peter, and the race set before us, we learn how to stop chasing the calling and start following Jesus into everything He made us for.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS- Fear gains power when we no longer feel safe. God's answer to fear is His presence: "I am with you."- Our safety is Jesus. Not circumstances, control, opportunities, promises, or even our calling itself.- God made you on purpose. You are His workmanship, created for good works He prepared ahead of time. Then you have to go.- Trust the One who called you. Like David in the cave, we don't force the promise. We trust God to fulfill it.- Keep your eyes on Jesus. Like Peter, we step out when Jesus says "Come" and look to Him, not the wind and waves.- Pursue Jesus, not the calling. As we follow Him, He leads us into everything He created us for.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDIsaiah 41:10Joshua 1:1-9Psalm 23:4Psalm 56:1-41 Samuel 16:1-131 Samuel 24:1-7Ephesians 2:8-10Hebrews 12:1-2Matthew 14:22-33Hebrews 13:8Matthew 28:20Revelation 22:13—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"Our safety is Jesus. Freedom from Bloodline Curses | Jesus Breaks What Bound UsHave you ever prayed about something, felt free for a moment, and then found yourself right back in the same fight? Some battles did not start with you. This week we open the Scriptures to see how heaven's courtroom works, why the accuser does not get the final word, and how Jesus, our Advocate, breaks what bound our families and leads us into freedom.📖 IN THIS EPISODEGod is calling us into great things, and the enemy works to put obstacles in our way. Some things break with simple prayer, but some keep coming back, often through our family line. We walk through Galatians 5:1, Daniel 7, Zechariah 3, Revelation 12, 1 John 2, and Hebrews 4:16, then share eight practical steps to respond in the courtroom of heaven with Jesus by your side.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS• Jesus did not set you free so you could live bound. Galatians 5:1 calls us to stand firm in the freedom Christ already won.• Heaven has a courtroom, and God is Judge. Daniel 7:9-10 shows the court seated and the books opened.• God does not leave His people in accusation. In Zechariah 3, He rebukes the accuser and trades filthy garments for clean ones.• The accuser speaks, but the blood of Jesus speaks louder. Revelation 12:10-11 says he is conquered by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.• Jesus is your Advocate. 1 John 2:1-2 and Hebrews 4:16 invite us to come boldly to the throne of grace, not as defendants, but as sons and daughters.HOW TO RESPOND IN THE COURTROOM OF HEAVEN• Meet with Jesus first• Ask, "Lord, what is the accusation?"• Discern what is true• Repent where needed• Apply the blood of Jesus• Break unhealthy bloodline ties and curses• Receive what Jesus gives in exchange• Follow the Holy Spirit—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDGalatians 5:1Daniel 7:9-10Zechariah 3:1-5Revelation 12:10-111 John 2:1-2Hebrews 4:16—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"The accuser speaks, but the blood of Jesus speaks louder."—🏡 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILYRead the full blog for a kid-friendly translation, dinner table prompts, and this week's family challenge:https://www.theriseupculture.com/blog—🌱 WANT TO GO DEEPERGroup Freedom Session: Healing from Bloodline Curses (Oct 15, live on Zoom)https://rise-up-culture.churchcenter....Freedom Coaching:https://www.theriseupculture.com/free...—CONNECT WITH RISE UP CULTURE🌐 Website: https://www.theriseupculture.com⛪ Rise Up Culture Church: https://www.riseupculture.church🕊️ Freedom Coaching: https://www.theriseupculture.com/free...📚 Courses, Assessments & Resources: https://www.theriseupculture.com/growFOLLOW US▶️ YouTube:    / @theriseupculture  📸 Instagram:   / theriseupculture  👍 Facebook:   / theriseupculture  —🙏 NEED PRAYER?We would love to pray with you. You Are A Leader with Kingdom LegacyAre you thinking too small about the life God has for you? In this message, Drew challenges us to stop settling for small thinking and start thinking God-sized about our calling, our leadership, and the legacy we're building. This is part 4 of the You Are A Leader series, with one message left to go.📖 IN THIS EPISODEOne of the biggest things that keeps Christians stuck isn't sin or selfishness, it's small vision. We look at how Jesus led with long term Kingdom impact instead of short term strategy, and what it means to build something for generations instead of just for now.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS1. Small thinking cages your calling. Most believers aren't thinking too sinfully or too selfishly, they're just thinking too small.2. God thinks in generations, not moments. Galaxies, nations, a cross and a resurrection. He's building something that lasts.3. Jesus led with long term impact, not short term strategy. He wasn't chasing what was popular. He was thinking of every person, across every generation.4. You are built for more than a moment. As a co-heir of Christ, you're made to build something that outlasts you.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDJohn 15:16—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"This world celebrates what's trending. The Towel Is Greater Than the TitleJesus had all authority in heaven and on earth, and He picked up a towel. In this message we dig into two truths that flip the world's playbook upside down: the towel is greater than the title, and dependence is greater than independence. If you've ever felt like you have to earn your worth or figure it all out on your own, this one is for you.—📖 IN THIS EPISODE • Why Jesus washing His disciples' feet is one of the most powerful pictures of Kingdom leadership • What it means that dependence on God is actually the most powerful way to live • A personal testimony about a vision of two crowns, and the invitation Jesus gave in it—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS • The Towel Is Greater Than the Title — Jesus had all authority and used it to serve. We don't have to conquer the world to have everything. We already have it all in Christ. • Dependence Is Greater Than Independence — Jesus lived fully surrendered to the Father, not out of weakness, but because dependence is where real power lives. • We're Called to Both — a royal identity as sons and daughters, and a servant's heart that lays life down for others.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCED • John 13:3-5 • John 5:19 • John 5:30 • Matthew 20:26—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO When I settle for independence, I become my own lid. You Are a Leader (Part 2): Qualified by JesusYou do not need a degree or a perfect past to be used by God. In Part 2 of our You Are a Leader series, we look at Peter and Paul, two men with opposite disqualifiers, and discover that Jesus alone makes us qualified to lead.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe continue our You Are a Leader series by asking what actually qualifies someone to lead. Using the stories of Peter (Matthew 4:19-20, Acts 4:13-14) and Paul (Acts 8-9), we see that neither education nor a clean past ever qualified anyone. Jesus does.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYSJesus is our qualification. Mark 3:13-14 shows Jesus appointing the twelve so they could simply be with Him, that closeness was and still is the training. Not disqualified by a lack of education. Peter was an uneducated fisherman, yet Acts 4:13-14 says people recognized his boldness because he had been with Jesus. Not disqualified by sin. Paul persecuted and killed God's people, yet Jesus met him on the road to Damascus and transformed him into history's greatest missionary (Acts 8-9).We step out, He calls us forward. God's preparation for your calling may look nothing like the preparation you think you need.Empowered and qualified by Jesus. You Are a Leader: The Identity God Already Gave YouBefore God ever asks you to lead anything, He already calls you one. In Part 1 of our new series "You Are a Leader", we unpack what the Bible really says about your identity, and why leadership starts with believing what God says about you before you ever do anything to prove it.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe start a new series by asking one question: if God introduced you to a room, what would He say? We walk through Matthew 5:13-14, Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 2:10, and 1 Samuel 10:6-7 to see how Jesus redefines leadership around identity instead of performance, and what it means to let Him lead your life so fully that you become part of transforming the world around you.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYSYou are what God says you are, not what you've done. Like an apple tree that is still an apple tree before it grows a single apple, your identity was declared over you, not earned by you.You are salt of the earth. Matthew 5:13 shows salt heals, preserves, and brings flavor into the ordinary, dry places of everyday life. You are light of the world. Matthew 5:14 uses the word kosmos, meaning you were made to help transform culture, not just inspire a room. You are His workmanship, with a destiny already prepared. Ephesians 2:10 puts identity before purpose, the good works were already set in place for you to walk into. You are part of His ekklesia. God gave you the next step, so why does it still feel like you're stuck at red? This week Pastor Drew shares an honest look at what keeps us parked in our calling: the endless search for certainty. Learn why waiting on God isn't the same as waiting to feel sure, and how learning to walk with Jesus means learning to wobble.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe dig into Exodus 3, Genesis 12, Matthew 14, and Joshua 3 to see how God actually leads His people: one step at a time, not a full itinerary up front. We talk about the trap of chasing certainty, what it means to redefine success as celebrating the wobble, and why God isn't looking for perfection, He's looking for relationship.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYSGod gives the next step, not the whole map. Abraham, Peter, and Joshua all moved before they had certainty, and God led them as they went.Certainty is a trap, not a virtue. Waiting on God is not the same as waiting to feel 1000% sure.Shame teaches us to hide, often behind the need for certainty. God is inviting us out of hiding and into motion.Learning to walk means learning to wobble. Celebrate the Wobble: Learning to Walk with Jesus | Green Light SeriesFor years Pastor Drew thought every scared, imperfect step of faith meant he was failing God. This week we unpack a message from the Lord that changed everything: all the lights are green. We look at Peter's story in a whole new light and discover that the wobble might be the most beautiful part of growing in Christ.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe talk about what it means to live from a red light versus walking through green lights of faith, why the Church stopped celebrating the process of growth, and how Peter's story in Matthew 14 shows us that willingness, not perfection, is what God is after.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS- You are not stuck at a red light. God is not asking you to feel perfectly ready, He is inviting you to take the next step with Him now.- The wobble is part of growth, not proof of failure. A toddler learning to walk falls down, and we celebrate her anyway. God celebrates you the same way.- Peter was not a partial failure, he was the most willing. Out of twelve disciples in the boat, he was the one who climbed out (Matthew 14:22-33).- Real success is following, not performing perfectly. The goal was never getting it exactly right, it was staying close to Jesus and walking with Him.- You get to redefine your wobbles. Ask Jesus what He actually saw when you stumbled, and let Him rewrite the story shame has been telling you.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDMatthew 14:22-33Philippians 1:6—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"What if the wobble is not the failure, but the beautiful shape of the walk?"—🏡 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILYRead the full blog for a kid-friendly translation, dinner table prompt, bedtime question, and family challenge:https://www.theriseupculture.com/blog—🌱 WANT TO GO DEEPERFreedom: https://www.theriseupculture.com/freedom-coachingKingdom Calling Assessment: https://www.theriseupculture.com/grow—CONNECT WITH RISE UP CULTURE🌐 Website: https://www.theriseupculture.com⛪ Rise Up Culture Church: https://www.riseupculture.church🕊️ Freedom: https://www.theriseupculture.com/freedom-coaching📚 Courses, Assessments & Resources: https://www.theriseupculture.com/growFOLLOW US▶️ YouTube: https://youtube.com/@TheRiseUpCulture📸 Instagram: https://instagram.com/theriseupculture👍 Facebook: https://facebook.com/theriseupculture—🙏 NEED PRAYER?We would love to pray with you. Jesus Over Giant | Face the Giant With Jesus

Every one of us is facing a giant right now, and it is loud. This week we walk through what it means to hear what Jesus says over us, surrender the lie the giant keeps repeating, and let Him have the final word. Because the giant does not get to name you, Jesus does.

📖 IN THIS EPISODE

We look at 1 Samuel 17 and ask what it really means to face a giant when God is standing nearer than the noise. We walk through a simple process: seeing the accusation clearly, surrendering it to Jesus, being washed by His blood, asking Him what He says instead, and receiving that truth for ourselves.

—

🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS

• Your identity comes before your battle. Like David, we hear who God says we are before we ever face what is trying to scare us.
• Loud does not mean powerful. Joshua 1:9 reminds us God is with us wherever we go, no matter how loud the giant gets.
• Name the lie you keep hearing. You cannot surrender an accusation you have never named out loud.
• Surrender and get washed. Jesus takes the lie and every place we agreed with it, and His blood washes the shame, fear, and sin clean.
• Ask, then receive. Jesus always has something to say in place of the lie. Our job is to actually receive it, not just hear it.

Jesus doesn't want a polished, manufactured version of us. He wants the real, honest, vulnerable us. This week we talk about what it means to come boldly before the throne of grace, surrender the burdens we've tried to carry alone, and become completely undone in the healing presence of Jesus.—📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe talk about why we don't have to hide, perform, or fix ourselves before coming to Jesus. He already knows us completely, welcomes us fully, and invites us to bring every hidden, hurting, heavy place into His light.—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYSYou don't have to perform for Jesus. Psalm 89:38-47 and Psalm 13:1-4 show us honest, unfiltered prayers are welcome, not just polished ones. Come boldly, not perfectly. Hebrews 4:16 reminds us grace and mercy meet us at the throne, not judgment.Trade your burden for His rest. Matthew 11:28-30 says Jesus invites the weary to come as they are.Hiding never actually protects you.
