Trusting God With All Your Heart | Closer to the HealerLast week we talked about identity, who you already are in Christ. This week we take the next step: emotional health, and what it really means to trust the Lord with ALL your heart, not just your mind.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe dig into what it means to trust God with all our heart, not just our understanding. Using Proverbs 3:5-6 as our anchor, we explore why our emotions are signals rather than problems, how heart residue builds up when we try to fill our God-sized hole with anything but the Holy Spirit, and how to bring that residue to Jesus so He can heal the root, not just manage the fruit.View all handouts: https://www.theriseupculture.com/blog—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS• Emotional health is a lifelong process. Just like discipleship, it is not a box you check once, it is ongoing growth under the lordship of Jesus.• Your emotions are warning signals, not the enemy. Like a check engine light, they alert you to something deeper that needs attention.• Everything flows from the heart. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us our behavior and emotions are fruit, and the heart is the root.• God searches and heals, we surrender. Psalm 139:23-24 and Romans 8:26-27 show us the Holy Spirit intercedes for our hearts while we bring Him our residue.• Healing the root changes the fruit. Real transformation is not behavior management, it is heart surgery from our Holy Heart Surgeon, Jesus.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDProverbs 3:5-6Proverbs 4:23Psalm 139:23-24Romans 8:26-27Romans 8:34Galatians 5:22-23—🏡 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILYRead the full blog for the kid-friendly translation, dinner table prompt, and family challenge:https://www.theriseupculture.com/blog—🌱 WANT TO GO DEEPERFreedom Coaching: https://www.theriseupculture.com/freedom-coachingKingdom Calling Assessment: https://www.theriseupculture.com/grow—CONNECT WITH RISE UP CULTURE🌐 Website: https://www.theriseupculture.com⛪ Rise Up Culture Church: https://www.riseupculture.church🕊️ Freedom Coaching: https://www.theriseupculture.com/freedom-coaching📚 Courses, Assessments & Resources: https://www.theriseupculture.com/growFOLLOW US▶️ YouTube: https://youtube.com/@TheRiseUpCulture📸 Instagram: https://instagram.com/theriseupculture👍 Facebook: https://facebook.com/theriseupculture—🙏 NEED PRAYER?We would love to pray with you. • The Me God Sees | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church

Freedom: Identity | Closer to the HealerThe more we let Jesus heal us, the closer we get to Him, and the more we're able to live out who He made us to be. This week we start a new series, Closer to the Healer, with the foundation of everything else: identity.📖 IN THIS EPISODEWe unpack why your identity in Christ isn't just a nice idea, it's the root of real freedom. We walk through Psalm 139, Ephesians 2:10, Romans 8:15, and 1 Peter 2:9 to answer one question: how does God actually see you, and what happens when you start seeing yourself that way too?—🔑 KEY TAKEAWAYS• How you think God sees you shapes everything. Your whole worldview is built around who you believe God is and how you believe He sees you.• You were formed on purpose. Psalm 139 shows us God intricately made you, and He's thinking of you with love in every moment.• You are His masterpiece, not His project. Ephesians 2:10 puts identity before purpose. You don't earn your place, you already have one.• You're not a slave to fear, you're a son or daughter. Romans 8:15 reminds us we've received the Spirit of adoption, not striving.• You are chosen and royal. 1 Peter 2:9 calls us a royal priesthood, worthy not by performance but by the blood of Jesus.—📜 SCRIPTURE REFERENCEDPsalm 139:13-18Ephesians 2:10Romans 8:14-151 Peter 2:9John 10:10—💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTO"If God sees me this way, then that is who I am."—🏡 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILYRead the full blog for kid-friendly translations, dinner table prompts, and a family challenge:https://www.theriseupculture.com/blog—🌱 WANT TO GO DEEPERFreedom Coaching: https://www.theriseupculture.com/free...Kingdom Calling Assessment: https://www.theriseupculture.com/grow—CONNECT WITH RISE UP CULTURE🌐 Website: https://www.theriseupculture.com⛪ Rise Up Culture Church: https://www.riseupculture.church🕊️ Freedom Coaching: https://www.theriseupculture.com/free...📚 Courses, Assessments & Resources: https://www.theriseupculture.com/grow—FOLLOW US▶️ YouTube:    / @theriseupculture  📸 Instagram:   / theriseupculture  👍 Facebook:   / theriseupculture  —🙏 NEED PRAYER?We would love to pray with you. • Living the Way Jesus Lived: Loved, Surrendered, and Following the Father

🎙️ Living the Way Jesus Lived: Loved, Surrendered, and Following the FatherIt starts with identity. This week we slow down to look at how Jesus actually lived day to day, and it was not from pressure or striving. It was from the Father's love, full surrender, and following what He saw the Father doing. A freeing, practical word for anyone carrying too much on their own.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━🎧 IN THIS EPISODEWe talk a lot about following Jesus, but this week we look at how He actually lived. The answer takes the pressure off in the best way. Jesus lived loved, lived surrendered, and only did what He saw the Father doing. When we live from that same place, we stop striving and start walking in who we already are.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━🔑 THREE TRUTHS WE UNPACK1. Let the Father lavish you in His love. It starts with identity, not activity. You are loved before you do a single thing.2. Jesus lived a life of surrender to the Father. Surrender is not weakness, it is trust in action.3. Jesus only did what He saw the Father doing. His whole ministry flowed out of relationship, not pressure.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━📖 SCRIPTURE REFERENCED1 John 3:1, Matthew 3:17, Luke 22:42, John 6:38, John 5:19, John 5:30━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━💛 ONE LINE TO HOLD ONTOYou were never meant to do this alone, and you were never meant to do it from empty.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 TAKE IT TO YOUR FAMILYDiscipleship does not stop when the episode ends. • Spiritual Armor: Part 2 | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church

Most of us have heard the armor of God taught like a checklist we pray over ourselves before we walk out the door. Belt, breastplate, shoes, shield, helmet, sword. But what is it actually for, and what does it actually do? In Part 2 of our walk through Ephesians 6, we slow all the way down and root the whole thing in one truth. Jesus is the armor. Every single piece is a way of putting on Christ. You will hear why salvation is more than a one-time rescue, how to stop striving to earn what Jesus already secured, and what it looks like to fight your real battles by looking to Him instead of looking at the storm. We close with the piece Paul mentions right after the sword, praying in the Spirit, and a gentle moment to simply say, "Lord, have Your way in me."If you have ever wondered why the armor never quite "worked" for you, this one is for you.Ephesians 6:10-18, Galatians 4:4-7, Ephesians 2:8, Joshua 1:9, Hebrews 12:2, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 1 John 4:18, John 1:1, 1 Timothy 3:16, Romans 10:17, John 4 and 7, 1 Corinthians 14.Take your next step:Join us in person for Saturday Night Worship at 6 PM in Davenport, FL. • Spiritual Armor: Part 1 | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church

Welcome to Rise Up Culture Church!

In this episode, we continue our Jesus’ Greatest Hits series by exploring one of the most powerful teachings in Scripture: the Armor of God. But what if the armor is more than spiritual tools we put on each day? What if Jesus Himself is the armor?

Through Ephesians 6 and other key passages, we discover how Christ embodies every piece of the armor and how believers are invited to receive His victory, righteousness, truth, and identity by faith. Rather than striving to fight spiritual battles in our own strength, we learn what it means to put on Christ and stand firm in what He has already accomplished.

This message will encourage you to walk confidently in your identity as a son or daughter of God, resist deception, and rest in the finished work of Jesus. Whether you're facing spiritual battles, discouragement, or questions about who you are in Christ, this teaching will remind you that Jesus is both your defense and your victory.

Thank you for being here and being part of what God is building. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share this message so we can reach more people together.

  • The GOAT Prayer: How Jesus Teaches Us to Pray with Power | Pastor Drew East | Rise Up Culture Church

Welcome to Rise Up Culture Church 💛

In this powerful message, we dive into what may be the greatest prayer ever taught: the Lord’s Prayer. When Jesus’ disciples asked Him how to pray, He didn’t just give them words to repeat. He gave them a framework for intimacy with the Father, alignment with Heaven, and powerful, faith-filled prayer.

Through Matthew 6 and Luke 11, we explore the principles hidden within this prayer and discover how Jesus teaches us to approach God with worship, trust, surrender, forgiveness, bold faith, and dependence on Him. This message reveals that prayer is not about religious routines or entitlement, but about relationship and partnership with God's Kingdom purposes on the earth.

If you've ever struggled with prayer or desired a deeper relationship with God, this teaching will encourage and equip you to pray with greater confidence, authority, and faith.

  • Abide: From Striving to Intimacy with Jesus | Lymaris Lovelord | Rise Up Culture Church

Welcome to Rise Up Culture Church 💛

In this powerful episode, NextGen Director Lymaris Lovelord shares her personal journey from striving, perfectionism, and performance-based faith into a deeper, authentic intimacy with Jesus. Through vulnerability and biblical truth, she unpacks what it truly means to abide in Christ and why staying connected to Him changes everything.

So many of us spend our lives trying to earn approval, prove ourselves, or “do enough” for God, but Jesus never called us to perform for His love. He invited us to remain in Him. Rooted in John 15, this conversation explores the beauty of abiding, the purpose of spiritual pruning, and the freedom found when we stop striving and start living connected to the true source of life, peace, and love.

If you’ve ever felt exhausted trying to be perfect or distant from God despite doing “all the right things,” this episode is an invitation to slow down, rest in His presence, and rediscover the joy of simply being with Jesus.

  • Jesus is Enough | Pastor Melissa East | Rise Up Culture Church

Welcome to Rise Up Culture Church!

Mother's Day can bring up a wide range of emotions... joy, grief, longing, exhaustion. In this message, Pastor Melissa acknowledges that while everyone's story looks different on the outside, most of us wrestle with the same quiet fear: Am I enough?

But today's message invites us to go deeper than that question. Because when we ask "Am I enough?" we're not getting to the root of the issue. The real question underneath all the striving is this: Is God enough?

Through the ancient Hebrew prayer of Dayenu  ("It would have been enough"), the story of Mary the mother of Jesus, and honest personal reflection, we explore what it looks like to hold both miracle and heartbreak... and still say yes to God.

Mary carried the promise and the piercing. She didn't have a roadmap, only an encounter. And yet she treasured and pondered, staying close to Jesus even when nothing made sense. That posture... not striving, but surrendering is the invitation for each of us today.

    In this episode:

    • Why "Am I enough?" is a surface question, and what lies beneath it
    • The Jewish Passover prayer Dayenu and what it teaches us about recognizing God's goodness
    • Mary's story: carrying promise, pain, and the sword Simeon foretold
    • What it means to treasure and ponder rather than demand clarity
    • A closing prayer and moment of surrender

    Key Scripture: Luke 1:38, Luke 2:1–7, Luke 2:19, Luke 2:34–35, Colossians 2:9–10

Key Truth: We cannot be enough without Jesus. He is our enough. He is our completeness.

We explore how surrender opens the door to transformation, how dying to self actually leads to abundant life, and how the Holy Spirit empowers us to live fully alive in Christ. When we stop holding on and start yielding, we make room for God to move in and through us in ways we never could on our own.

If you’re longing for more of God, more freedom, and more purpose, this episode will encourage you to let go, trust Him deeper, and step into the fullness of life He has for you.
