The Rising Above Podcast is a platform that is dedicated to giving a voice to those who typically wouldn’t have one. David Hess the host of the Rising Above Podcast used this platform as a way for him to share his personal story of overcoming the foster care system and much of the abuse he endured throughout his life. One thing that David is a firm believer on is that you ” DO NOT NEED TO LET YOUR circumstances DEFINE WHO YOU ARE FOR THE REST OF TIME”.
