The National Farmers Federation says the Climate Risk Assessment released this week is sobering and a reminder that farming will only get harder if the country doesn't get climate policy right.

The report warned all agriculture sectors face growing threats, with more than 60 per cent of cattle stock to experience heat stress under the 3 degree scenario.
