We learn about his career in hockey over the past 20 years, from playing in the Quebec Major Junior League to Pro in the US, and then overseas in Russia and throughout Europe.
He talks about being home in Halifax during COVID and what’s next for him. The best part of this episode though, are some of the stories he shares like his Russian modeling career, giving Paul Bissonnette the nickname Biz Nasty, and growing up in Cape Breton.

We are honored to welcome back Verena Rigz. We first talked to Verena in early 2020, in episode 24, and a lot changed since then.
This past year Verena experienced a range of emotions and intensity. She faced the COVID crisis head-on as a clinician, got married, and was deeply engaged as the Black Lives Matter movement exploded.
This week we explore how she took care of herself this past year, the importance of setting boundaries, and what it was like for Verena as a Sudanese Egyptian woman in 2020. She shares her most recent poem, a part of her self-care and healing: Rain.
