Jesus paid a very high price for us to live a life of freedom. But we often let the cares and concerns of this life weigh us down and make us feel trapped. How God longs for us to know him! We discover him as we read and study his living Word. But the “Word” is not just dead letters; it’s the Living Expression of God, Jesus Christ. The Word came with skin on as the Perfect Man—the One who is the divine self-expression and the fullness of God’s glory; he was God in the flesh! The New Testament, at its beginning, presents four eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. These four “Gospels” present the clearest picture of what God is like because Jesus is His perfect expression. We become more like Jesus when we behold him in these pages. I challenge you to read through Matthew, Mark, Luke, and especially John at least once this year. When your eyes are opened to who He is you’ll discover who you really are!

I’m making this bold proclamation, you will become more like Jesus this year! Why? Because 2020 is a year where we will see Jesus clearly. Fixing our hearts, minds, and eyes on Jesus becomes resolution number one this new year. I believe my message tomorrow will inspire and strengthen you to get focused in on Him.

Join me in our quest to set our focus on Jesus and clearly reveal His love to others. We become what we behold, lets behold Jesus together.

During Advent, we rightfully turn our attention upon the arrival of Jesus. But often we miss something valuable when we fail to see the importance of those God chose to use in the story of His arrival. From Mary & Joseph, to John the Baptist, or Simeon & Anna - God chose to use people, just like us, in His story.

In this message, we look at what Simeon and Anna can teach us about pursuing dreams and being in the right place at the right time.

Optimism is positive thinking. Hope is passionate trusting. The Hope of Christmas isn’t just changing our mindset, It’s making us mindful of the one who says nothing is impossible.
