This week, a very special episode is helmed by our very own Chloe P. who interviews the torrential two-piece Mere Exposure Effect. We catchup  with this duo in their Mechanicsville practice space where we fight through the cold and freezing cables for a more in depth Chloe's Corner. First episode of 2022 we bring you some fresh faces who have been sweeping through the Richmond music scene, Wallpaper! This grunge duo combines the highs and lows of Nirvana with the dreamy guitar licks of Horse Jumper of Love.

On this episode we catch up with the members of Tennishu (featuring DJ Harrison on drums and R4nd4zzo on bass) just after they came off their world tour! We talk about crossing genres and creating the story you want to tell.

Make sure to look out for the first Tennishu release, Three Sides, this Friday on November 19th through Subflora, and catch the members of Tennishu play The Camel in Butcher Brown on both November 26th and 27th.

This week we caught local acts, Rail Gun in the middle of their mini-tour around the greater Richmond area. We talk about an awkward meeting, trying to identify their specific sound, and getting completely derailed by our favorite teammember, Tobie, whenever the pup enters the room.

We took a week off, but we're back and recorded an episode with The Dead Billionaires, a phenomenal local act. Join us this week we'll hear their solid beats and melodic harmonies and we'll touch on a few topics including our usual Richmond questionnaire, becoming political, and changing your name to piss off your dad and his friends.

This week we head out to the East End to sit down and talk with The Mighty Good Times. Despite being down two members, beefy and all-Modest Mousey-as-hell, they were still able to jam out an amazing set. We talk about making connections, the accessibility of the Richmond music scene, and breaking out into other cities.

Our first episode of season 4 we once again sit down at our original recording location with Eustäce (formerly Black Acid Ritual) to hammer out a spectacularly raw and powerful set. This time we talk about changing band esthetic, opening up musical genre, and secret spots on the James. Actually we don't talk about the sectret ones.
