Various types of hearts are various types of ground when it comes to the seed that is being sown. Heart receptivity to the teachings of Gods word is the key to accessing and receiving its fruit in your life. Every living thing boils down to a seed and the seed comes from the Lord. As we allow the seed of God’s word to be planted in our hearts it will produce after its kind, bring us light and life.

God’s intention for His people is that they would continually increase generation after generation. The father’s ceiling should be the children’s floor. There is an expectation that godly legacy not just consist of spiritual blessings but also financial blessings that can be used to further the Kingdom for years and years to come.

Every believer is carrying purpose. God set eternity in our hearts and many times we are disillusioned with our current season and longing for the next season when we can be more effective, or more anointed, or more impactful for the people around us. Would it shock us to find that God has set us in this exact place at this exact time for a purpose? God has called you to labor where you are and build His Kingdom. Don’t overlook a mission field to get to a mission field. Rejoice in the work God has called you to, do good where you are, and enjoy the fruit of your labor!

When the storms of life come there are two types of foundations. There are those who have built by wisdom on a rock and those who have foolishly built on sand. Christ is the only foundation but sometimes our foundation isn’t steady as it appears. It’s imperative that we build with the right foundation and the right materials. The Lord’s House should always be built with gold and precious stones!

Words are seed and they carry the power to change our lives for better or worse. What kind of fruit will you bear? It depends on the seed, the environment, and the frequency with which you sow. Our words have the power to carry life or death, blessing or cursing, justification or condemnation. It’s up to us to allow God’s Word to take root in our hearts so we can produce a good and abundant harvest.

Few people understand the power of faith (or doubt) filled words but what we choose to believe and the words we choose to speak have governing power over the outcome of our lives. Our confidence in God increases for the next thing as we build a history of walking with Him. When seasons shifted Abraham stepped out at the Lord’s word without really knowing where he was going. All he knew was that there would be a blessing for his obedience. The steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord so when we have accepted God there is a perfect plan for us to walk in. When we hear His voice (Word) and obey, He will direct our steps and we will walk in the Promises He has given us.

God wants us to be filled with His Spirit and Jesus asserted that if any man was thirsty he could come to Him and drink. There is a River of Life flowing from the Throne of God but we must be diligent to keep ourselves from distractions and other things that would compete with Him. We must be careful, direct, and intentional in our pursuits. As we allow ourselves to be filled with living water we will find that we have been filled with all the fullness of God.

In the waters of baptism we are buried with Christ so we can be raised again in the newness of life. It is the outward sign of an internal change that has already taken place in our heart. Jesus died for us so that we could enter into fellowship with Him. Have you accepted Jesus as your Savior? Going to church doesn’t do it, being a good person doesn’t do it, and being religious doesn’t do it either. If you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth— you shall be saved. Will you turn from your sins and call upon Him? Today is the day of salvation.
