River Northwest Church

Jesus perplexed his hungry disciples when they said “Master, eat” and He responded, “My meat is to do the will of Him who sent me and finish His work.” Fulfillment begins with knowing the will of God but it’s not enough to be hearers alone. Jesus said His meat was to “do His will” AND “finish His work”. If we aren’t hitting the mark God has for our lives, we know it. But when we are passionately pursuing His desire to the point of completion and we allow His Word to change us and the people around us—we will always find fulfillment as we step out in faith to DO what He has spoken.

The Word of God isn’t optional. It’s a necessity that brings us life. Spiritual nourishment comes from fulfilling God’s perfect will— but how do we know what it is? As Christians, our appetite for God’s Word should be growing consistently and we should be continually moving to a greater place of maturity and fulfillment. How do we know God’s will for our lives? It’s by listening intently until His Word becomes revelation to our hearts.

Everyone must come to a place where their Christianity shifts from a Sunday church goer mentality to a daily disciple. God has a plan for each and every person in the Body, regardless of their sphere of influence. Some have been called to family, ministry, government, business, education, entertainment etc. No matter the mission field— you have been called and fulfillment is only found in that place of fulfilling divine purpose!

In today’s world it’s important that we have a true understanding of how to operate with discernment. Many will erroneously back away when something is revealed by means of discernment but God has called us to temper our discernment with love so that we can see the people around us walk in freedom.

God has called each of us to be ambassadors and that means we must couple compassion with our God-given, delegated authority to reach the lost. Jesus did great and mighty miracles and God wants to use you in the same way—so you can’t be afraid to step out with the whole armor of God to see people, saved, healed, and delivered! The enemy is on the defense and God’s people are taking ground for the Kingdom. The gates of Hell will never prevail against a blood bought Church!

God’s understanding is unsearchable and there is none like Him in wisdom, understanding, power, and holiness! Yet He chose to dwell in YOU! Many have a superficial understanding of the Lord’s greatness for others yet few come to the heartfelt revelation that He wants to be BIG in YOU!

You and I have been given the ministry of reconciliation. God is setting, sanctifying, separating, and sanctioning each and every one of us to the work He has called us to. By the Holy Ghost we can do that work with boldness knowing that God Himself goes before us.

In this message we continue with "Breakthrough The Hinderance of Fear" and a couple of the fears to overcome, is the fear of Failure and investment. It's based on self preservation, which is selfishness. Jesus gave us a perfect example of investing His own life, and it reaped great reward!
