Last week we saw that during times of crisis throughout history, the Christians were on everyone's lips because of what they were willing to do to show compassion.
In uncertain times, like we are in now, we mostly ask God to take away our problems. But we can learn something from three guys in the book of Daniel. They found out that following God, no matter what it means for us, is the best way to live out any situation.
Many of us are PROGRAMMED for worry, fear, anxiety...But God promises us something so much better: "Peace that surpasses all understanding"; Supernatural peace; Peace when there should be no peace.
Join us as we talk about what it looks like to focus our thoughts, like Philippians 4:6-7 say, so that we can have that peace.
(Make sure and take a look at the picture for this episode as it is referenced quite a bit in the message!)
Our mind is incredibly powerful and complex. Depending on the thoughts we have, it can build us up or tear us down. We take 4 weeks to look at what scripture says about how to keep God at the center of our mind.

For 21 days, River of Life Church is going to spend time in prayer and fasting. Jesus expects that fasting will be part of every Christian's life. So what does this look like for us?
