In Part 2 of the Angels series we learn about the importance of Joseph in the Christmas story and how God raised him to be a powerful leader through three angel visitations.

In Part 1 we talk about the fear of the future. More specifically, the fear of God's plan for your life.

Matthew 2 King James Version

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

This familiar passage talks about the wise men who traveled to Jerusalem looking for the Messiah.  They were looking for Him for one purpose.  They came simply to worship Him.   Using this as his text Pastor Mark talks about the importance of taking a "pause" during the Christmas season to do what these wise men did...simply worship Jesus.   God bless you as you listen.

In Part 1 we looked at the life of Abraham and learned we are called to be blessed but also to reflect those blessings to other people.   In Part 2 we learned that we are created by God for a purpose and that purpose is to be generous with the gifts that God has given to us and use them to bless others.  Isaiah 58 tells us that when we live this life of generosity and share with others there are things that God has promised to us in return.  God bless you as you learn how you can make a difference in the lives of others!
