When God's Spirit jumped from Wales to Asuza, the ground had been laid by people in America like Alexander Dowey, Maria Woodworth-Etter, and Charles Parham for a new wave of the Holy Spirit. From the days of Edwards and Wesley to the 1857 revival, a wave of great power swept through our nation ebbing and flowing bringing in many souls as the gospel was preached in power. Now, God was about to increase the move of the Spirit to bring in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, healings, deliverances, and the gifts in operation in power. This wave of revival would carry on ebbing and flowing for many years.
