When we rest in the security that comes with being a Child Of God,we can recognize our many blessings and better deal with the curses we face in our lives.

God's Truth says we are chosen by Him; it is part of our identity.When we begin to doubt this, we must seek our blessings and getconfirmation from our community of fellow Christians.

To transform our perspective, we must learn to widen our view to theeternal, rather than the temporal. But, in so doing, we cannot abandon ourcurrent issues; we must face & deal with them.

Transforming oneself is a process; it often doesn't happen overnight, though that is possible.Our transformation occurs in the place where we meet God and begin conforming our thoughts to His.

To be prepared for change; to grasp both big and small moments and live the life ofsignificance the God wants of us, we must use all of His gifts. In other words, wemust be battle-ready and shoot down to our last arrow.

Too often we put restrictions on our concept of God, making Him seem too small.As a result, we fail to approach in boldness & ask for, in prayer, exactly what we desire.Know what you want and ask Him for it!!

Often what Jesus calls us to do results in some discomfort as we are pulled in unfamiliar directions.It is then that we must connect with our Christian community if we are to make the fullest use of our gifts.

As David's "Mighty Men" were victorious when they stood firm, so we need to face  our problems to resolve them. Hiding from issues only defeats us. Stand yourground as the person God designed you to be!

Sometimes, in life, our choices are so limited that even the smallest reward is worth a large risk.Our faith should be lived like that...take the risk & gain the greatest of rewards.But we need to remember to share our reward, since others are in need also.
