For the first stop along the River, I am joined by my good friend Will Bradley as my first guest on Riverside Readings. Today we will explore an art studio in New York as a well-known artist's final days draw near while he has help from his younger assistant. In a scene filled with passion and desire for art, we see an artist realize their time might be drawing near and a younger creative finally letting their feelings be known. Afterward, before I  return to the river, we explain our journeys before I tie off the knot and head towards new discoveries.

In our final episode of the Shakespeare Sonnet Series, we see our lovers continue on their impasse. Bound by a love that is inescapable, we see a continuation of woe, strife, and undying love regardless of our lovers no longer living with the same passion. Cupid, the god of love, has had his torch touched by our lovers only for the remnants of their love to stay put after their fire has long since dwindled. In the penultimate part of our Shakespeare Sonnet Series, we saw our lovers admit their infidelity, accept each other, bash the public for their judgment, and ignited a new lustful passion for our lovers. A continuation of the paranoia from before we see our poet become an accuser, saying his lover has chosen another over him. This is something that can not stand. In a series of sonnets that attack her vanity and call her praise-seeking, to pleading on bended knee and promising to do what he can to make sure she is loved correctly, these sonnets explore the chaos of emotion and how unchecked we can turn into something we wish never to become, and might even call upon a higher power to help resolve the woes that plague us. As we have waded into the sonnets of Shakespeare we are immediately made aware of the poet's purpose, to attain love and convince the beautiful woman of lore that she must make her beauty plentiful in the forms of children.
