Larvotto beach here in Monaco is getting ready for the summer season.
As the summer season is fast approaching and with a view to welcoming the public in the best possible conditions with safety in mind re-profiling work will be carried out from 11th to 28th April.
This exclusively land-based work involves levelling the mound of pebbles helping to recreate a morphology that is appropriate for the beach, guaranteeing sufficient capacity and meeting safety requirements for access to swimming areas.
To ensure the balance of marine biodiversity at the beach during the work, 120-metre retaining nets will be put in place over the water.
To protect beach goers, swimming will be prohibited for the duration of this work. However, parts of the beach will remain accessible. The resort’s restaurants and shops will remain open with no restrictions.
