The Coventry Building Society Arena has been the hub of Goalball activity during the IBSA World Games, which is where Hywel Davies spoke to Joe Roper following Team GB’s Joe Roper after their final match of the tournament.

Laura Brooks, from the England Women’s VI Cricket Team reflects on their first championships competing against Australia and India at the IBSA World Blind Games 2023.

Sadly they lost to India in the final match of the games but good competitive cricket in Birmingham.

With the finals of the Visually Impaired Cricket of the IBSA World Blind Games 2023 taking place at Edgbaston on Saturday 26 August 2023 our Toby Davey popped round to the stadium to chat with Claire Daniel, Operations Director at Warwickshire county Cricket Club to find out how they have been working with IBSA and the ECB to make the finals as accessible for all the blind and partially sighted spectators who will be watching the finals and for other matches at Edgbaston too.

Proud Dad Nick reflects on how his daughter Jess Lowe and the rest of the England VI Cricket Team have been faring during the IBSA World Blind Games in Birmingham.

Our Toby Davey caught up with Nick just after Jess had finished bowling the first over of a very critical match for England as they take on India in their final match of the games.

Our Toby Davey stepped out on to the Judo mat to have a go at VI Judo. The lesson began with Toby being shown how to fall properly on the mat by Wayne McDonald VI Judo coach before Toby and Wayne had a go at throwing each other around on the Judo mat!
