Today marks the start of New Zealand Fashion Week - 25 years since the first fashion week saw local designers on the runway. But it's been a rocky time for the industry, with lables like Wynn Hamlyn, Sylvester and Jimmy D among the well known designers closing down - that's had a knock on effect for local machinists and manufacturers. Caitlin Crisp, who founded her Auckland-based label in 2019, is headlining this year's Fashion Week. She spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss.
