  • RHM Episode 083 -- Handsprings and Handguns

Jimmy  issues a verbal challenge this time to his next target, Wade Garrett.  The fight is martial-arts versus back alley brawling, but Jimmy seems to  have a slight advantage. Dalton disposes of his opponent and looks on,  but seems to respect the one-on-one code of barroom fighting at first.  When Wade looks like he is in trouble, Dalton steps in and joins the  fight, which ends with a deafening bang, courtesy of Brad Wesley's tiny  pistol.

  • RHM Episode 082 -- Melee at the OK Corral

Jimmy issues a non-verbal challenge to the bouncers, who engage him with Dalton's blessing. Big mistake, Dr. Jones! Then for some reason, all hell breaks loose. The NEW Double Deuce sure looks like the OLD Double Deuce in this minute.

  • RHM Episode 081 -- Unleash the Jimmy

Denise's tarty trip on the pole ends with a Daltonesque flourish. Dalton indignantly turns Denise over to Wesley with some choice words, which he misinterprets as an invitation for Jimmy to come kick some ass. Jimmy begins some balletic maneuvers with a pool cue.

  • RHM Episode 080 -- Striptease by Numbers

Dalton decides he's had enough of Denise's PG pole dance, and heads over to break it up. But Denise realizes she's finally snared her prey, and decides to crank up the temperature by removing her pink dress. Somehow she manages to still cover her chest with various pieces of clothing -- not all her own, though -- at least for a little while. Even Dalton seems to admire her resourcefulness.

  • RHM Episode 079 -- That's No Twerk, It's a Space Station

Denise strides up to the stage to begin an attempt at a sexy striptease, first putting the moves on Cody before perhaps realizing he can't see them. Denise seems to think this is the way to Dalton's heart, but his heart is still in a smoldering pile of ruins out in the parking lot. Wade seems to enjoy things just fine, though. Denise moves on to give the crowd a little 1980s version of twerking, before busting out her floor exercise routine.

  • RHM Episode 078 -- Twisting the Knife

Red arrives in his truck to see that his entire store has been reduced to ashes. Dalton and the boys return to the Double Deuce to see -- BRAD WESLEY??? standing at the bar, commiserating with no one in particular about the disaster we all know he engineered. Wesley rubs salt in the wound with some choice words about Red, which his henchmen all seem to enjoy. Denise begins her dance.

  • RHM Episode 077 -- Red's Haven's on Fire

All seems to be going well, until Jack bursts into the bar to tell Dalton that Red's store is on fire. Everyone races out to see the first of several ten-alarm fires, although this is Jasper, so only two fire engines arrive. Dalton runs towards the fire for some reason, until the entire store explodes in a thermonuclear blast.

Doc needs to get some shut-eye, but Wade is still eager for more, and offers another classic Road House quote -- "Doc, I'll get all the sleep I need when I'm dead." Doc chooses to sleep a little earlier than that and leaves with a kiss. Back at the Double Deuce, Wade notices he is in a target-rich environment.

  • RHM Special -- The Neal E. Fischer Interview

Road House Minute listeners, once again we are privileged to bring you a most excellent guest, Neal E. Fischer. He has worked on several TV and film projects, but he comes to us today as a result of his first published book, "Being Patrick Swayze: Essential Teachings From the Master of the Mullet". The book chronicles nearly every facet of Swayze's career in a jaunty style that is both informative and entertaining. Neal talks with us about how he wrote the book, his thoughts in general about Patrick Swayze, and his favorite Swayze movie, which of course is your favorite as well if you've stayed with the podcast for this long. Enjoy!

After you enjoy listening to Neal on this podcast, you should check out his flagship show, the tremendously enjoyable trivia podcast Triviality. Stay tuned soon for an episode featuring Roger and chock full of Road House references!

"Being Patrick Swayze" can be found everywhere good books are sold, including your local retailers and on the Internet.
