The field of mental health is becoming more widely discussed all the time. Sociologists observe the astronomical rise of anxiety in our society. More and more people seek out mental counseling each year, and mental health experts proliferate online. Some of these experts blame the Bible, with its focus on guilt and shame, as the source of our collective mental un-health. But is that accurate?
