He is a strong advocate for the clients he has worked with over the years and an early adopter of the power threat meaning framework which is an alternative model of mental distress, beyond the medical model.

In this episode I bring you conversation with Counselling Psychologists Dr Abiola Muhammed Ogunfowora and Dr Anjali Chaudri. In this episode I bring you an interview with Dr Eoin Galavan. Eoin is a Senior Clinical and Counselling Psychologist in the HSE, North Dublin Adult Mental Health Services. He is currently the Clinical Lead for the North Dublin Suicide Assessment and Treatment Service, and former team leader for the Evolve Dialectical Behaviour Therapy program, both of which are dedicated to treating suicidality and self harm within the public mental health services.
