We find most times when we sit with clients that want to have an annuity review done as part of their retirement road map review, because they don't understand what they bought. Most times annuities are sold, they're not bought by the consumer. So, we dive in very deep. We get as clinical as someone wants us to be, but people do walk out with complete and utter clarity. Among American's 65 and older, almost twice as many women, as me, are living with financial hardship. 68% of all of the elderly poor, are women. Again, we've set it before, and we'll say it again, women do tend to outlive men.

We have come to the realization that in meeting with couples and a lot of time single women, whether they're single through a divorce situation, through being widowed, or just never being married, and had very little knowledge of the family financial situation. If women are outliving men statistically, they need someone to help answer the questions. That's why we're here!
