Bon Jovi my friends,
Here is another episode for y'all!
This one includes tips on getting started in running (or anything for that matter), the process of mastery and some notes on the battle with "my nemesis" Chris Cuomo.
*I cut out a portion about Leipsic - I am open to chatting with anyone about it - there's so much more to the story than the headlines. It's because I want to make sure it accurately portrays the entire story behind this type of behaviour.
Perhaps my exposé on the entire sports system should be it's own episode. Hint: It's F*cked up.
Take care out there and love one another,
Rico
Hey you little squish mittens,
Here's another episode for your frontal lobes or wherever you process sound into thought and meaning.
In this one, I share how nice it is to hug a friend (after so much time in quarantine), how comparison can inspire or cause misery and finally a candid talk about death via a dream I had a few months back.
Don't worry, we end off on a hopeful note.
'Till next time,
Rico
Hey there you stud muffins and muff-ettes,
Thank you for stopping by.
We start this one off talking about President Trump (or as I say Tremp) advising people to drink bleach.
Then, we chat the different aspects of social capital, being self critical and not getting insulated by ideologies.
Finally, we get in to the battle on inauthenticity and "fake-ness" in the world via. Chris Cuomo's video on the secrets of beating COVID - finishing off with a synopsis on a great new Netflix Show called "The Midnight Gospel," starring Duncan Trussell as Clancy in an intricate animated space-cast covering questions of life, death and existence.
Enjoy!
Rico
Hi y'all,
This episode focuses on two aspects of society.
First, a call out to the entitled people at the park who are improperly socially distancing and it's not who you'd expect!
Second, an honest chat about doping and cheating in sport.
I was gunna get into Trump but we'll have to save that for another day.
Hope you enjoy this "Side-B" to the Roadmaps Podcast, this will focus more on socio-political or "news" oriented content.
Stay safe out there folks!
Hey y'all,
Here is episode 2 of the Roadmaps Podcast.
This one covers topics such as the creative fire, how to fly (or fall flat on your face) and QUIT YOUR COMPLAINING.
I know, sounds aggressive, right!?
Well there's only one way to find out :)
*I messed up! I decided to drink a glass of scotch while recording this episode and while the content is still solid, it ruined a good 15 minutes of audio from the of ice "clinking in the glass. 10 points for Griffindor if you can figure out where it is ;)
Hey y'all,
Just when you thought you couldn't get more sick of hearing about the coronavirus, I hop on and give my two cents!
Beyond that, I weave in some thoughts about stoic philosophy, taking this time to self-reflect individually (and as a species) and changing our habits towards a "realistically" sustainable future.
This podcast is in its infancy, if you have any ideas, topics or suggestions - please send them along (@trileycoates on insta).
Hoping to include video, guests and much more in the future!
Take care,
Riley
Coming at ya with another Magical episode!
This week I chat my experience of camping at Rushing River, running (& almost missing) a half marathon and how travelling to Fiji/Australia affected my life.
Book Club: Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
You wanna find some Wookies? Go to the woods... Or come on a journey through this podcast with me.
Enjoy,
Riley
Here's another episode for you - so fresh and so clean, Outcast would be jealous.

This is a bonus episode detailing my experience in Red Deer for the Spartan Races and climbing Limestone Peak.
I talk both the Sprint (3 miles, 20+ Obstacles) and Super (8 miles, 25+ Obstacles) races, rolling my ankle and deciding to climb a mountain later that same day.
Am I determined, crazy or both???
Let's find out!
Here's another episode for ya!
Recorded this one last week, and despite my best efforts of trying to sync the video and post on the weekend, neither of those happened!
But here you go, the second installment of Talkin' Life with me - Riley Coates.
This time I tackle what's on my mind... hint: it's Spartan Racing. I also talk about GOAL SETTING, the four (and 8) dimensions of wellness, the book YOU ARE A BADASS by Jen Sincero and some other delicious tangents.
So buckle up and press play :)
