This week Shannon pops in to ask for some "Tips & Tricks" for beginner runners where we cover everything from running in the heat, how to overcome low motivation and even the pre-run poop. We have it all covered, folks.
Then we do our training chat and discuss strategy for Shan's upcoming 5000m track debut. Turn up the volume and enjoy the show. Thanks!
Today Rob covers the last couple days of Olympic track and field (and roads), it was a tremendous competition and now he's quite sad that the games are over. Then Shan stops by for another training chat as they go over what they both got up to last week including Rob's bike race up Seymour mountain where he performed decently well but kinda acted like a dick along the way.
I just needed to talk about how amazing the competition on the Track at the Olympics has been, so here's my brain dump on that. I love track and field.
Today we're chatting the first weekend of Olympic track, including the exciting and controversial Women's 5000m final and Canada's first gold of the games in the men's Hammer.
In the second segment my lovely partner Shannon stops by for a training chat where we discuss what we both got up to in our training last week. Shannon has Chicago coming up and I have all sorts of random stuff.
I hope ya like it! Thanks.
First episode of a new season and we're gonna chat Olympics. Basically just some previews/Predictions and rambling thoughts about some of the marquee track and field events. Maybe I'll do a part 2 to cover the events I missed, who knows. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!
