It's Election Day y'all. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by having an actual politician join me in the studio for this one to talk about a handful of issues on voters minds. Desi is running for state rep here in Illinois against Democratic incumbent Sharon Chung. Here is what she has to say...

Religion and spirituality is a very personal and profound part of many peoples lives. Billions of people around the world do in fact believe in the existence of a god and attribute their every success and good fortune to the divine intervention of a benevolent, all powerful being. I'm not one of those people. Why is that? Well I'm glad you asked.

Madame Web is a character from the Spider-Man comics and video games. She's depicted as a blind, elderly woman bound to a life-support chair due to a degenerative disease she had. Despite this, she posses clairvoyance- the ability to see into the future and ultimately change it- using it to help Spider-Man avoid the dangers his spidey-senses can't pick up on.

Now take that concept, throw it and any direct reference to Spider-Man in the trash, cast the lady from 50 Shades of Grey as the titular character, throw in heavy product placements from Pepsi and you've got yourself the worst movie I've seen this year. Let me dig deeper and explain why.

There has never been a politician- and most likely never will be- like Donald John Trump. And depending on where you land on the political spectrum that's either a very comforting or very disheartening truth. There has also never been a political movement in this country quite like the 'Make America Great Again' movement. The Republican Party (for better or worse) has not been the same since 2016.

With just a few days until the 2024 Presidential Election, now seemed like as good a time as any for me to invite Rhian Fazzini- Executive Director of the College Republicans at Illinois State University-  to speak on why he and so many others will be voting the way they are in this pivotal election.

Joker: Folie à Deux is the sequel to the smash-hit 2019 film "Joker". I gave that movie a 10/10 for it's superb acting, story, and cinematography. Five years later we have this one. I walked into the theater already questioning if it would be a worthy sequel but still intrigued. I walked out with my suspicions confirmed. Tune in and find out.

Long time no see pal. Let us catch up on the news of the past and complain about stuff in true Robbie fashion. There will be some changes to how often new content is released to accommodate my schedule and frankly mood to record content.  Expect at least ONE new episode once a month every month. Possibly two or three depending on how much creative juices I got flowing but my promise to myself and to you is at least ONE new episode once a month.
