Or as Lance would say, "hey Y'all!"  Having this conversation with Lance is the perfect example of why I love doing these interviews for the SHO. I got the opportunity to get to know someone who I have known for quit a while at a whole other level. Lance has been a huge impact on my life yet I did not really know him at all. By reaching out to Lance to have him on the show I now have a much deeper relationship with him.

Lance is a Senior Partner at Aldebaran Associates International. Aldebaran is an Executive Recruiter committed to creating a world where people love what they do for a living (I love this!!).

Lance's impressive resume includes being an Executive Assistant for Landmark Worldwide, Tour Manager at Another Side of San Diego, Office Manager/Operations Manager/Outdoor Ecology Guide and Naturalist for Hike Bike Kayak Sports in La Jolla, Ca.

Lance went to the University of California, San Diego where he completed with graduate degree in Philosophy. We get into his long history of philosophy!

A highlight of our conversation is his daily reminder that he looks at in the mirror: Deny what you believe that is tattooed in Latin on his chest!

The burning question I had for Mike was, "How the heck do you survive?" I know Mike as someone who does alot of wandering. Meaning, I have know him for a few years and haven't known him to really have a career or permanent residence. 

Another question I have always wanted to know is how does he do life without structure? How is it that my life is so structured and planned and how do I get it no so my structure makes up my identity? 

These are the things that I wanted to know and much more. Michael has been a huge influence in my life and have always considered him a dear friend. I know you will feel like you are friends by the time you finish listening to this SHO!

Hello All!!

It was a real pleasure to interview my friend Jim Gardner. Jim and I have known each other for a few years and I have always known him to be a driven and dedicated man. We did Martial Arts together and he was not only a gifted athlete and honorable opponent, he is humble and respectful.

Jim grew up in Southern California and went to college University of San Diego. Following college he joined the United States Marine Corps as an Officer (job duties found below). After 4 years in the Marines he joined the United States Navy with the intention of being a Navy Seal, which he did and served 6 years (training and job duties found below).

Now being Separated (not retired, it's a U.S. military term for leaving active duty but not necessarily leaving the military (see link)) from the U.S. Navy, Jim is transitioning into the Civilian Sector by attending Harvard Business School, but not before traveling the world with his wife first.  Now that is a transition!!

There is alot we talk about in this interview; everything from character of a Serviceman to raising children to the opportunity of mentoring or hiring a Veteran of the U.S. Military.

Albert is one of my dearest and most intensional friends I have. If it wasn't for albert betting me to start a Podcast of my own I would of never known how much I love getting to know people at a deeper level while interviewing them for this Podcast. 

Albert has developed himself into a machine of a businessman while being a new father of two beautiful little girls. We get into how he keeps himself accountable to his multiple business' and what strategies he uses to keeping a work/family life balance.

Hi All! 

Meet my friend Chris the Kiwi! He stayed with me and my wife Lynnzi for 2 weeks during the summer of 2016. To put this into context, we had never met before he stayed with us. It was sight unseen and as it turns out, Kiwi's are really cool down to earth type of people. So it all worked out and while staying with us we got to know each other a little. What intrigued me about Chris is his taste of music and his Athletic ability. The guy has got amazing body control and strength. 

He has been a professional Irish Dancer from a very young age (5 I think) and from there got into Break Dancing, Martial Arts, Salsa and Tricking. Tricking is that crazy shit you see those youngsters doing and think to yourself there is no way I am doing  that!! 

In this episode we talk a bunch about his passion, dedication and the fact that there isn't any predators on New Zealand (Iknow, random) amongst other fun facts.

This is a short clip of the interview with Glenn Stokoe. 

I have a few ways to get rid of stress in my body: Body Surfing, Postural Therapy, etc but Floating in a Float Pod at North County Float has been by far the most effective and efficient way of relieving stress. Now this is stress from the body and the mind. I come out of a session of Floating free of tension and feeling more creative because my mind and body are free of blockage. This may sound too good to be true and trust me I thought the same when first learning about Floating then I tried it and now I am hooked. 

Floating has been around for over 50 years but it is most needed in these times of over stimulation and external stress. I feel my shoulders tensing up just sitting here writing this...... I gotta go float after this!!
