MESSAGE THE VIBE THE RHYTHMS THE MELODIES by Roberto Q. Ingram

I’m excited to share my latest Two Hour DJ mix, *R Sound: The Foundation*, created as a personal exploration of "Vibes and Journey.

" This mix reflects my thoughts on humanity and the challenging times we constantly face. It’s a look at how easily people can be divided and manipulated without evidence or truth. However, this is not a political statement or a reaction to the 2024 U.S. election results. Instead, it’s a moment I took to step away from negativity, finding focus and inner peace through this collection of music.

The message, the vibe, the rhythms, the melodies—all of it forms a journey of freedom and introspection. Each track was chosen spontaneously, capturing my feelings in the moment. It’s a pleasure to share this mix with you, and I hope you’ll find your own sense of peace and enjoyment within *R Sound*. Enjoy the journey.

After an amazing day in my inspiration studio, I recorded this lovely two-hour vinyl-only mix. It’s a spontaneous set, where nothing was planned—just pure vibe and feeling. I pulled records from my personal collection, both new and old, melodic chord progressions, different aspects of deep minimalism, groovy, and a bit of a mystical vibe take over.

You’ll hear releases from artists like Roger 23 (Future Baud06), Christopher Rau (Broke EP), Ranges (Fragments of Dub), Bright Sounds Tillander, CN (Second Moment EP), Jichael Mackson (Teledub #2), San Proper (House Republic 007), Science Fiction Recordings 001, Stir 15 Recordings, Reform Recordings (Over Drive EP Vol.2), Subway Silver (Hold Me Up), Moezee Musik (My Guitar), Contextterrior Shonky, and Onirico vs. Man-D.A. (Unreleased Series 2), plus many more.

This mix is a journey for the mind, body, and soul—meant to challenge your imagination and take you to unexpected places. I simply turned on my turntables and mixer, letting the music guide me wherever it wanted to go.

I hope you enjoy the vibe as much as I did creating it. Thanks for listening!

Welcome to another The Decisive Podcast Series DJ MIX.
