Prayer can accomplish much: Matthew 6: 9-13
1. The Introduction: Do we believe that prayer can accomplish much?
1.1 Big Idea: To learn from Jesus, as we look at Matthew ch6 vv9-13; for our prayers to accomplish much (9-13)
2. The first thing we learn from Jesus for our prayers to accomplish much is it deals with God’s character (9-10)
3. The second thing we learn from Jesus for our prayers to accomplish much is it deals with our personal needs in a community (11-13)
4. Conclusion: the exhortation: These two things we looked at in Matthew ch6 vv9-10 to learn from Jesus for our prayers to accomplish much – will we allow Him to teach us? (9-13)
Reflection: Do you believe your prayers can accomplish much? Do you begin your prayers to God the Father or to Jesus? Do you start your prayers by praising and thanking God for who He is; or do you go straight to your needs? Do you pray?
