In this episode Robin and Joa discuss how even though there are four different books, they all have several similarities that make them connected to one another. Then we get into what makes these novels so incredible: their futuristic sci-fi setting combined with her unique perspective on race relations during segregation periods while also exploring themes like feminism, metamorphosis (in both plants or animals), etc... A perfect read if you ever feel trapped under oppression but want some hope about breaking free from it too!
