NORTHWEST CONNECTICUT CROP HUNGER WALK

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by religious groups, businesses, schools and others to raise funds to end hunger in the U.S. and around the world.

Shakespeare & Company presents “God of Carnage,” written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton, directed by Reggie Life. The play won a Tony Award for Best Play and an Olivier Award for Best Comedy; now this award-winning New York hit comes to the Berkshires. Written by the author of ART, “God of Carnage” runs from September 14 – October 8th in the Elayne P. Bernstein.Shakespeare And Company

The White Gallery opens “David Dunlop’s Electric City” on Friday, September 15th with an opening artist’s reception on Saturday, September 16th from 5 – 7 pm. A gallery favorite, Dunlop is a modern-day old master whose luminous paintings draw from both Renaissance techniques and contemporary science.

Legendary talk show host Phil Donahue will interview prominent Constitutional Scholar and Yale Law School Professor, Akhil Reed Amar about the Constitution, its history, evolution and why trial by jury was – and is- so important to preserving our democracy. Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the Museum.
