With Mike on assignment this week for some big Multiversity Comics happenings, Greg brings in not one, but TWO guests to help fill the void. ROBOTS and Multiversity Comics contributor Paul Lai is joined by his comic-reading younger brother Sonny as the three lads discuss one of the more interesting miniseries of 2015: "Oh, Killstrike". This BOOM! Studios book tells a tale steeped in comics history meta-text and gargantuan-sized vengeance, as the fanboy-and-new-father protagonist is teamed up with a living, breathing version of the main character from "The Worst Comic Book Ever Created": Killstrike! Written by Max Bemis and drawn by Logan Faerber, "Oh, Killstrike" is chock-a-block with the type of in-jokes, commentary, and story that we love to dissect here at ROBOTS...no matter who's behind the mic! So all that and tons more is just a single mouse click away!

Mike’s preparation for an impending move starts this week’s free-range conversation with talk about how we store all these comics that we buy & hang on to. Long boxes or shelves? Alphabetical or categorical? Sifting through a years-spanning collection always unearths forgotten treasure, which then begged the question of what to DO with that treasure. The loaded ‘slabbing’ debate is talked about, leading to discussion about what actually goes into making an issue ‘key’. First appearance? Death? Wild card? And while we can all think of Big Two special issue tentpoles, what about the independents? What “L&R” issue would YOU slab, given the chance? All that, plus emotional organizing versus objective organizing, the best comics-related gift Greg has ever received, what Diamond boxes are and aren’t good for, which IKEA furniture makes the best library fodder, home library as physical manifestations of our brains, the Pieta, Jim Starlin, Batman/Starman/Hellboy, and much more!

As if co-writing a weekly column about the Thrill-verse wasn't enough, Greg sits down with PR droid Mike Molcher to chat about all things 2000 AD! While the initial brief for this talk was to talk about the 2015 that was, the conversation quickly shifted over to all the exciting projects Tharg and his minions will be unleashing on us humes in this new year of our Progs 2016. GOLDTIGER! Misty! Scarlet Traces! THE UNCENSORED CURSED EARTH! All that, plus thoughts on the new 2000 AD documentary "Future Shock!" as well as this year's Free Comic Book Day issue (including art by Eric Powell and the Allreds) and so much more!
