ROCK MORNINGS

Here we go!! Friday's finally here...the weather has been absolutely wonderful all week & is going to continue into the weekend, and Game One of the World Series is tonight!!!!

We obviously talked about the Brewers quite a bit this morning, including their somewhat feeble attempt to fix the "Golden Ticket" promotion, the really cool design in a cranberry bog, a couple of free beer offers from Miller Lite & Kwik Trip, and the original "Racing Sausages" are getting a glow-up!

In the news on "Slap Your Co-Worker Day", a recall on toothpaste, Tom Skerritt passes away at age 93, a really creepy "looksmaxxer" named Clavicular pleads not guilty to rape charges, a wild video of #Florida high school students who ganged up on a teen who tried to stand up to bullies, and a serious OPE in Appleton involving a car on a trailer in a drive-thru.

In sports, Week 7 in the NFL kicked off last night with the Bears beating the Patriots, the Bucks are playing their home opener this afternoon, the Badgers take on #19 USC tomorrow night, the WNBA Finals continue tomorrow afternoon, JJ Watt is officially taking over for Tony Romo, and CJ Gardner-Johnson's one-game suspension is upheld after an appeal.

Getting ready for a big weekend...but first, Thursday!

Kicked things off with the Thursday song(including Pat McCurdy's brief version from many moons ago!). And if you're looking for free beer...then you're in luck, because Miller Lite is buying tomorrow during Game 1 of the World Series!

In sports - Week 7 in the NFL kicks off tomorrow night with the Pats at the Bears, the NBA regular season kicked off yesterday with three games, the WNBA Finals resume tonight between the Atlanta Dream & Golden State Valkyries and it seems like Enes Freedom Kanter might be in attendance, the NFL Players' Association is calling for a full investigation into how the Eagles handled the Jalen Hurts blood clot situation, and Terry McLaurin is out for the season.

And a village in England is trying to stop people from speeding by installing knitted traffic cameras AND full-sized officers along a busy road.
