Speaking from Acts 2:37-47 Russ begins in the first half of verse 37, "Now when they heard this." When Peter stood with the eleven, such questions must be asked such as: Who was it that heard? What is it to hear? Hearing but not hearing? What is it that they heard? And the deep rooted question...have you really heard the gospel?

Jude 1-5 Upon concluding that Jude writes to them that are sanctified by God the Father, Preserved in Jesus Christ, and called, in all ages of the Church, we begin to see the great need then and now to be warned about false teachers/prophets/converts who creep in unawares. It is imperative not only for ministers but all who belong to Christ to know the scriptures and the truth they contain, otherwise we lack discernment to spot wolves and will go on continually being tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine.
