This show is about a relationship, but not a relationship between two people.  This is about your relationship with God.  As we often work with couples trying to build or repair their human relationships, we see that frequently have to help them set up the relationship.  How are they going to spend time together? How are they going to raise children together? How will they resolve life challenges together?  It is very important that the two people have an understanding of how they desire to have a relationship and how they are going to take care of that relationship. 

Our relationship with God is no different.  If we do not make this a relationship it will soon fade and eventually perish.  There are so many stumbling blocks that can get in the way of a solid relationship with God.  Pride, ignorance, humanistic thinking, etc.... whatever it is, we must identify what we want our relationship with God to look like, and then begin to live it out in that way.  If we want a great relationship, we much pour a great amount of attention and love into the relationship in order for us to feel complete.  God wants your heart.  That is another way of saying, He wants to have a relationship with you.  He wants to love you and He wants to be loved by you.
