Most of us could agree that the election process of our political leaders can make us weary.  It is sometimes difficult to hear negative add after negative add. It is difficult to know who you can trust and who you can't.  No, it is not a perfect system.  However, it has proven itself to be among the best systems used to run a country that allows a significant amount of freedom to the people.  

This show is not about the political ads and all the other junk.  This show is about the treasure that this country is and the processes we have to maintain it.  Among those processes is the election process.  It is so important and valuable to keeping all of us free that we must learn how to teach it to our kids.

Freedom makes a huge requirement of every human being. With freedom comes responsibility. For the person who is unwilling to grow up, the person who does not want to carry his own weight, this is a frightening prospect.
