The shelves are groaning under the weight of vinyl, and there is no more room in left Smoker Mansions for records. So I am going to stop buying, right? WRONG!

The time has finally come to thin out some lesser-heard discs from the dustier reaches of the archive and send them to be enjoyed in new homes. Hear a bunch of uncomped obscurities on orignal 45s from the trades and for-sale box this week.

The Rockabilly DJ paid one of his regular visits to the splendid Rollin' Records shop at 6 Station Road, West Wickham, Kent, BR4 0PR a few weeks ago. Here is a selection from the huge bag of vinyl and CDs that I hauled back home on the bus.

Trebles all round as we reach the C-section of the shelves. Seven talented sinners rocking out to get you bopping!

We have reached the end of an era. The MyPodcast site, where The Rockabilly DJ Show has resided since it started nearly four years ago, is closing down. From 1 December 2011, this podcast will available to download only at www.rockabillyDJ.com .

Don't forget that our step-sister show, Truckers Shuckers Freaks & Geeks, has also relocated to a new site here http://gminusmark.podomatic.com

Thank you for continuing to support us here in our new home, and welcome to our new listeners too. To celebrate our rebirth, all songs today feature the word 'baby' in the title.
