We are called to speak out against the evil that we see in society. We must work towards the good that God desires! When we do, we are called to remember that the person we are speaking to is a human who deserves our respect.

We often get our opinions of people from a distance: through the news, or through observing from afar. I have found that when you get to know people close up, when you move in, they are different than you thought. To be true to God, true to who God has made you, and to truly belong, you need to see others with the lens that God sees them. So move in!

True belonging doesn't require you to change who you are; it requires you to be who you are." As Christians, we believe that who we are is a child beloved by God and reconciled to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ!

Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection changed everything about the world. His birth was right on time and exactly as God wanted it! It changed our world and should change how you and I live!

What a glorious night! Angels, shepherds, singing, a star and so much more - the world was saved that day. That is the truth of the birth of Jesus, it was the beginning of the end for all evil, pain, and suffering. God began a path that would provide humanity a way home. And yet we gather in the darkness to worship the light. We know that not everything is fulfilled even today. So we ask the question, "Are We There Yet?" It is all too painfully obvious that we are not there, not living in the light, not enjoying the reign of God, not living the vision of peace that we cling to in the darkness of a divided and hate-filled world. Our mission: to serve Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit and live in Love. Only through Jesus, is there hope for the future!
