SciFi Talk's Tony Tellado has been on DSTN's podcast before, and our Managing Editor, T. Rick Jones, has been on his. They both enjoyed the third season of Picard so much that they wanted to geek out about it, and they decided to give you the opportunity to listen in! They also discussed the latest announcement by Paramount of a Section 31 event movie, due to begin production later this year.
This is a really special episode. You can find it on DSTN and SciFi Talk, both of which are available wherever you get your podcasts.
The Riker walk. The Riker sit. They all had an origin that took the character from "a little smarmy" to a "Gary Cooper" type to being fully inhabited by our special guest: Jonathan Frakes. The Trek Files goes back to the origins with a special reading of the very audition sides that landed Frakes the role of the iconic William Riker.

Late last year, Celestis Memorial Spaceflights announced their next flight. Dubbed the Enterprise mission, it will see the remains of several Star Trek luminaries journeying into the final frontier on the Vulcan Centaur rocket. Since the announcement, I've had the pleasure of interviewing friends and family members of the late, great cast and crew who will be blasting off next month. Throughout the month of April, I'll be releasing those interviews.
It's the dream of many a Star Trek fan to meet and befriend their heroes. Imagine grabbing a coffee with Kate Mulgrew or a tea (Earl Grey, hot, of course) with Patrick Stewart! As a fan of Dr. McCoy portrayer DeForest Kelley, Kris Smith was surprised when she got to meet him and became close with him and his wife Carolyn. She wrote a book about the experience and now that his ashes are space-bound, she's here to talk about their friendship.

Robert Justman, Producer on the original Star Trek, was Gene Roddenberry's right-hand man and as responsible for the success of the show as Roddenberry himself. His remains will be on the Enterprise mission with Roddenberry, and I spoke with his son Jonathan about the space flight.

In the Star Trek: Voyager episode, "Fair Trade," what's the worst thing that could happen when stopping to ask for directions? Getting wrapped up in a murderous drug ring for starters.
