Our whole lives are wrapped in neat bow of red, white, and blue, sprinkled with the emotional overtones of loyalty and bravery, tucked underneath the wing of a noble eagle who watches over and protects us, and settled down nicely into a routine orthodoxy that is nearly ubiquitous. We are meant to be forever fettered to this fealty. If we rustle a bit, if we peek out from under the wing to see that white headed eagle scavenging the blue and red bloodied death of its opponents which it has ruthlessly slaughtered, if we find out the brave are actually the cruel, and we turn to our nest mates to point to the truth, we just might find ourselves under a bomb dropped by helicopter on our heads or in a sensory deprivation mask, hogtied and tortured in Guantanamo Bay. The government slaughter of innocents is nearly endless, in our history, and we are here on Rogue Ways to assist the exodus from the eagle’s nest.
