The three Went siblings have rented a mountain cabin with plans to celebrate a twenty-first birthday. They expect their dads to join them later but not the sudden freak snowstorm, which begins after a disturbing door wrapped in chains is uncovered. As the snow piles ever higher, Kaspar, Leo and Jean find themselves trapped and at each other’s throats, taunted and needled by whatever is behind the door. They want out. It wants out.
