Even Kaxus sends as much help as he’s able, though the result leaves everyone wondering if they’ve had some sort of stroke. In the last moments before they discover what exactly is causing the infection, Grolen quietly asks for some final words.

Caught fast in the grip of pure Ichoric oozes, Ygin, Xelas and Grolen have little choice over getting injected with even more Ichor. Whereas Ygin and Xelas oddly seem able to shake it off easily, Grolen is not so lucky. Rokain’s desperate reach for power may just be the turning point everyone needs – if they can hold on a little longer. With another ooze on its way, Victory or Defeat teeter on the point of a few seconds’ actions.
