The Dark Tower: It's a miracle it got made and is out, but is it a miracle of cinema? In short, no. But is it any good AT ALL? That's harder to answer, at least for Garrett, who can hardly get a sentence out before his brain shuts down. Co-hosting with Garrett's dumb mouth are technical issues and spontaneous harmonizing. This week, we're dusting off a film from a few years ago that you might have missed. We believe it's somewhat of a hidden gym that more people should get the chance to see, so we're sharing it with you. (The alternative was The Emoji Movie, and we're dedicated to this show but we're not crazy). This film, directed by Chris Evans (Captain America), has a lot of heart. It got slammed by critics, but we're not entirely sure why. Is it perfect? No. But it's certainly got heart and an interesting story, and darn it, you've gotta love that about it.

Once in a lifetime, a movie comes along that pushes the boundaries of cinema. A film that completely escapes the trappings of the world and brings you into a new understanding. An experience that you can't stop thinking about for months. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets... Is not that movie. The gang covers SDCC, the many Batmans we'll probably see on screen, and of course, the CGI world(s) of Valerian in this episode. But wait! There's more!
