Before we dive back into the world of our troubled teen superheroes, we take time to flesh out our version of Halcyon City. Who is Maggie McIntyre, and who did she fight? Who is the ex-hero that killed Hal Monroe's team, and what is his history? How many aliens have passed through Halcyon? Why did the Good Boy pick that particular name? All this and more will be answered in today's episode! (Though if you don't like worldbuilding episodes, you can safely skip this and go into the next season without it.)
The game we played today is Signal Light, a Masks-themed hack of Microscope. Microscope was written by Ben Robbins; Signal Light was written by James Malloy.

A debt is paid to bring a family together.
This is the last episode of our Junyard Elysium miniseries. As always, we would like to thank our listeners for their support, and Stras Acimovic and John Leboeuf-Little for writing Scum and Villainy.
We will be on break until our next anniversary, February 5, 2020. When we return, we will return to Masks for a followup to our very first season. If you need to catch up or want to relisten, you can find all episodes in order on our website. If you follow us on Twitter, we will be posting at least one teaser before we return!

We weren't able to record this week, so here's another episode from our Patreon vault. This one is a oneshot taking place in the same universe (though not the same sector of space) as Junkyard Elysium. Regular programming will resume next week; enjoy!
A man named Keno Murphey is found dead in his apartment. Sheriff Diana Pierce calls in Doctor Samara (Chris) and Mnemologist Clyde (Bee) to help her figure out what happened. As she waits for the medical reports, she learns that Murphey was a popular fellow, getting a visit from both courier Mira (Meg) and collection agent Marshal (Jovian) for business. When Clyde's mental probing suggests that the murderer's real target is the Veil itself, the two bystanders agree to travel with the two doctors to the Intergalactic Embassy. What appears to be a simple monorail ride, however, quickly turns into something far more dangerous, as the Veil itself is pushed to its limits and Mira is confronted by some familiar foes…

As Amy's miniature rescue mission goes south, Doc and Crux are left cornered and scared. There's still lots of ground to cover between their position and the safety of the ship. Kellen and Korv are still on their way to meet back up, and Doc starts advocating for violence. With everything going so poorly, can Crux still keep their personal connection to the Delta Star a secret?

When people start getting captured, Crux exploits some construction knowledge to execute rescues. But how long can they keep secret that their knowledge comes from an understanding much deeper than they care to admit?

Following a successful job and a victory at the races, the crew finds themselves with a little free time before the next job comes in.
