In this week's Grammar Talk, I get into verb conjugations. Did you know that in English the forms "am" and "was" both come from the verb "to be"? Well if you didn't, then definitely make sure to listen in to find out why. Is you ready? (Improper verb conjugation purposely used)

No one is inherently bad at language learning just like no one is inherently good at it. Though what makes someone a bad language learner is that they don't consider certain things when trying to learn a new language. If you're doing any of the things I mention in today's podcast then it's time to move past them!

I don't think this is a new concept by any means, but I don't really hear it talked about a lot in the language communities. So today I want to share with you guys how you can progressively overload your language learning routine so that you will see improvements and not feel like you're not getting anywhere.

Don't say you haven't done this because we all have, including myself. Though it may seem like a good way of gauging your level it really doesn't help a growth mindset. I'll share with you the common or maybe not-so-common ideas behind why comparing yourself to other language learners is not beneficial and the real person you should be comparing yourself to.

I'm back with another Language Talk, this time with Norbert, an English language learner from Hungary. Norbert has been studying English for awhile now, but it wasn't until the last few years that he cracked the code to really boost his language skills. He has a lot to say about the language learning process and what has motivated him to always better his abilities.
