Well it's about dang time! 115 days into leaving the UK to tour Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gyms, make reviews of my experiences and enjoy Europe and the US before the hard work begins back home in Kenya...and I finally got round to the first episode of my journey that should have been out in February.
What is life, if not random.
This episode breaks down why I'm even travelling, a few fun anecdotal stories about my beginning into the BJJ path and ends with the tougher notes of this big old journey!
Links that I mentioned in this episode:

If you want all the BJJ gym reviews check them out at https://justshiggi.com/ronin
2. I'm running a long-term GoFundMe page for all the stages of this crazy dream of mine. If you'd like to know more and look at the various ways you can support, check it out at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/shiggi
Not mentioned but worthy of note:
I have a substack account setup for my impulsive full travel write ups and I'm launching my Afro Mythology stories podcast on there too. Subscribing for now is free for the first 100 people then it'll be £5/month to help with overheads and encourage me to keep on going!

Shooting from the hip, with one of my housemates deciding it is time to cook lunch in the background!
Join me in my 15-minute review of coming back to the UK, admitting I need to "be less turtle" and finally look at having more venom in my game in the remaining days I have here before finally going full Nomad!
From the same person who intermittently voices the "Getting Shiggi With..." podcast - here we are at Episode 1 (of who knows how many) of the Rock 'n' Roll Her podcast diaries.
Hello - my name is Shiggi (sometimes referred to as Storm, if you get the reference, I'll love you forever)
If you've been around my other podcast, you'll know I quite enjoy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu currently - so much so I spent a month in Montana last year in a 30-day Budokon Guru Killer intensive that fundamentally changed my outlook on *many* things, and solidified my opinion on a great many others. In time, I guess I may dissect those.
In the meantime, enjoy this 20-min diary entry that's as chaotic but logical in it's summation as you'd expect.
